I’m Kiana, the maker behind Serpent and Soil, where ritual meets the art of scent. I’ve been crafting handmade incense for 5 years, though my relationship with ritual and magick has been woven through my life for as long as I can remember. Each blend I create is an offering — to the senses, to the spirit, and to the quiet spaces within us that long for connection.

My work is rooted in the old ways of working with botanicals — listening to the language of herbs, resins, and roots — and translating that into fragrant forms that honor both earth, spirit, and intention. Alongside incense, I study and create natural perfumes, exploring how scent can move between an enchanting ritual tool and personal adornment. Whether I’m blending smoke or liquid, each creation is guided by intuition, study, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for the materials I work with. I approach scent-making as both craft and spell: a balance of artistry, discipline, and devotion.
